Name: Shadow Watcher
Season Born: Early Newleaf
Age: 28 moons
Alliegence: Tribe of Rushing Water
Personality:
Evasive and hard to read - usually read as very blunt and hard to negotiate with. They prefer to get past formalities early and direct the conversation to its true intent. They don't do small talk, and may seem abrasive on first glance. They speak in a quiet, low-pitched tone. They take offense when others feel pity for them and are very prideful. They refuse to back down from challenges made towards them.
Mother: Little Briar
Father: Crow Flight
Littermates: Leaf Dapple
Other Family:
Ancestors: Optional.
History:
Shadow Watcher was, like most cats of the Tribe, born unto hard times. The weather was chill, even in newleaf, with snow still covering the mountaintop. There were many times when Shadow Watcher and their sister, Leaf Dapple, had to go hungry, though the hunting would show itself improving within the next few months (at least by a little).
They grew to be an evasive cat, one who rarely offered up information about themself. It was a byproduct of their upbringing, or at least, one could guess, seeing how Little Briar concerned herself with her kits. Shadow Watcher felt she was invasive, and grew to distrust Leaf Dapple, as any incidents shared would be tattled about to their mother.
Their attitude towards others became cool and aloof, detaching from the Tribe's usual camaraderie out of fear of prying eyes. As private as they tried to make their life, they felt this sense of vacancy. Perhaps the lack of trust in their family had shaken them. Who could say, though?

Roleplay Sample:
(taken from another roleplay)
The night's chorus was in full volume this night; crickets were chirping and frogs were singing their deep-voiced songs by the river. Stars twinkled slyly in the twilight sky, colored gorgeous vermillion hues that were a sight to behold. Clouds silhouetted against the night sky drifted further towards the horizon, where the sun was slowly sinking, its rays dying as the moon rose on the opposite side of the world.
It was a night like this that was absolutely perfect for training.
Jaystream lead the way past the cat-tails as he crossed the shallow part of the river, water rolling off his sleek black fur. As he went, he checked to make sure Graypaw was keeping up. His fur brushed past reeds as he made his way further past, to a place where the river would have been in Newleaf, after the initial melt at the source of the creek. The ground was soft and sandy, great for cushioning falls, and the area was surrounded by thick brush for practice with surprise tactics.
"Graypaw," he said, turning around in the clearing to face his apprentice with a leveled green gaze. "Do you want to know why I brought you here today?"
Other: they identify as nonbinary and use they/them pronouns exclusively!
