Name: Night River
Season Born: Late Greenleaf
Age: 30 Moons
Biological Sex: XX, Female
Alliegence: Tribe of Rushing Water
Sun Trail Cat?: Yes
Personality: Currently unsure, but my plan for her is to be peaceful and smooth-talking!
Mother: Poppy Flower
Father: Hawk Feather
Littermates: Bright Fire
Other Famiy: Sweet Breeze (Poppy Flower's sister)
Ancestors: No known ancestors.
History: Night River was the first-born kit of two to mother Poppy Flower and father Hawk Feather. Her sister, Bright Fire, was always the spitfire of the two, while Night River was the more peaceful, quiet. Poppy Flower died shortly after the kits' birth, and her sister, Sweet Breeze, who had lost her litter of kittens just a moon before, raised Night River and Bright Fire as her own, but made sure that the kits knew about their real mother. Their father, Hawk Feather, was absent for most of their kithood, grieving his beloved mate, but he returned to them shortly before they began their training.
As trainees in the mountains, this was when the hunger began to creep up. They went to bed with empty bellies more often than not, and Night River often gave her fresh-kill to her smaller sister. Their training was mostly uneventful, though they understood that things were going badly. When they became full members of the Tribe of Rushing Water, the hunger was at an all-time high. Now, Night River is an advocate for leaving the mountains, her home, to find more food and keep the Tribe from dying out.

Roleplay Sample: (Taken from another roleplay!) Rainstar was careful to keep her eye on Lavenderkit during the whole trek back to Camp, nervous that she'd slip away from her again and that she wouldn't be able to keep up with her. The haze in the air was getting thicker, and every once in awhile, Rainstar would clear her throat, longing for a breath of fresh air but knowing subconsciously that it wouldn't come. Something was definitely wrong with the air, and if Rainstar weren't so caught up in grief, maybe she'd care a bit more.
What she heard upon entering Camp was the last thing she wanted to hear. From the Nursery, a terrified yowl sounded. Ivystripe. "...I think Rainstar's kit in here might not breathing either!" No. No, this can't be happening, she thought, pelting after Lavenderkit and exploding into the Nursery. There lay Asterkit, tiny and frail, her flanks as still as Juniperkit's. "No!" she howled, her voice hoarse and crackly. In one fell swoop, she reached forward, plucked up Asterkit by the scruff, and carried her out into the Clearing. She couldn't be dead, she couldn't. Maybe it was just the stuffiness of the Nursery, once she was outside, she would start breathing again...
But this wasn't the case. Rainstar laid Asterkit beside Juniperkit, watching with eyes as focused as a hawk's, watching for any movement. But there was none. She let out another wail and threw her head up to the dark sky. "Sky, Sagestar, SunClan, and MoonClan, why have you punished me?" she screamed up at the sky, unsheathing her claws and digging them deep into the earth. "What have I done wrong? All I ever did was serve SageClan!" As she spoke, her voice grew louder, but hoarser at the same time. Her eyes watered; the hazy air was doing her no good. "Dunnockstar, why did you ever make me Deputy?" she screeched, now speaking to SageClan's former Leader. "I couldn't do it! I can't do it! SunClan, I can't even keep my own Clan together! Herontail, Rowanpaw, and now my own kits!"
Rainstar collapsed into a crouch, still staring at the sky. Her voice had gone fully hoarse, and her eyes had glazed over. It was as if she were somewhere completely different, and yet her body and spirit were still there. "I was never meant to be Leader," she wailed, still clawing at the ground. "SunClan, tell me what to do."
Rainstar wanted to leave. She wanted to leave her responsibilities as Leader behind and run away, never to return. Her Clan didn't need her. Her kits didn't need her; as far as she was concerned, the more she tried to care for them, the more they pushed her away. Two had died, and now her remaining three were angry and scared of her. "Why have you done this to me? To us? What did I do wrong?" She pierced the air with one last scream, then grew silent. If Sky had something to say, she would say it.
Other: She will be auditioned for RiverClan's Founder!
